LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Position Description

You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Air Systems Group, Technical Data Division, Logistics Customer Service Branch, Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS) Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA) Baseline Management of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• Providing integrated logistics support of the Naval Aviation logistics Command Management Information System to ensure program goals and objectives are accomplished.
• You will be developing and maintaining NALCOMIS OOMA Baseline data baseline creation/implementation and sustainment on the assigned aircraft.
• You will attend meetings such as, Maintenance Plan and Technical Directive Reviews and provide input on Program Office Data development issues.
• You will serve as the focal point with program stakeholders for data managed, any fleet related programs or NALCOMIS system.
• You will research and provide the proper course of action required for Baseline Trouble Reports submitted by the fleet. Research Weekly IRAC and Technical Directive Trackers and provide Baseline Change Reports as part of platform sustainment.
• You will establish, document, and, and track various phases of the life cycle for baseline management for each assigned, weapons system, avionics system, and related equipment while developing detailed plans, goals, and objectives.
• Preparing and presenting oral and written reports, proposed solutions to problems, and be able to effectively change a course of action.
