ENGINEERING TECHICIAN (MECHANICAL)

Position Description

You will serve as an Engineering Technician (Mechanical) in the Infrastructure Engineering Branch of the Facility and Plant Planning Division in the Facility and Infrastructure Management Department of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will apply predictive and preventative tools and techniques to improve facility and equipment reliability.
• You will replace or modify utilities, real property, and equipment by developing statements of requirements, cost estimates, and/or performance statements of work.
• You will work with customers, contractors, and or contracting agencies to schedule and coordinate work with the least impact to production operations.
• You will provide direct support of HVAC and industrial ventilation system components to include but not limited to supply and exhaust fans, package air handling units, direct expansion split and package systems.
• You will monitor the performance of existing HVAC and industrial ventilation systems that support industrial plant equipment and processes to optimize reliability and minimize energy consumption.
