SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (HUMAN RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT)

Position Description

You will serve as a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Human Resource Development) in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Human Capital Management Group, Career Development Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding training policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and all matters related to methods of training, addressing skills gaps, and instructional design.
• Develops innovative ways to deploy workforce training by ensuring new technology and lessons learned are incorporated in Career Development Department offerings.
• You will regularly interface with NAWCAD management officials in assessing skills gaps and training needs to further workforce development.
• You will supervise and provide oversight of a staff of human resources specialists in the operational aspects of human resources management.
• You will represent the command in all civilian human resources programs by providing strategic advice, guidance, direction, and coordination.
• You will work with corporate management to develop programs to meet organizational needs or solve continuing problems.
