Position Description

You will serve as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead in the Maintenance, Repair, & Overhaul Production Department of FRC WESTPAC DET IWAKUNI. ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.***

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will manage, coordinate, and oversee of the cost, schedule and performance for aircraft undergoing various Planned Maintenance Intervals (PMI), ensuring the Integrated Maintenance Program (IMP) is successful.
  • You will serve as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) ensuring contractor performance remains within the scope of the contract.
  • You will serve as the commands point-of-contact for all matters associated with the aircraft production line.
  • You will coordinate with an international and multi-faceted team to complete the scheduled maintenance and un-scheduled maintenance concurrent with Planned Maintenance Intervals.
  • You will coordinate resources to assure the cost, schedule and performance of the production line of their airframe is achieved while ensuring compliance with all applicable specifications, applicable contracts, instructions, and local policies.
  • You will assist in the preparation of negotiations with designated contractors.
  • You will advise senior leadership in regard to program matters addressing program status, resources and impediments.
  • You will Serves as primary technical point of contact for the solicitation of preventive maintenance contract services.
  • You will meet with customers and contractors to coordinate efforts, resolve issues, and mitigate conflict that jeopardizes the on time delivery of their respective aircraft.
