We are looking for smart, energetic candidates with strong T&E aptitude to join our team working on some of the Navy’s most advanced and critical weapon systems, who will play a role in the development and operational ground testing of various DoD mission systems. The position resides in the Advanced Systems Integration Laboratory (ASIL), a one of a kind “national asset” level test facility and anechoic chamber utilized for ground-testing modern Navy/DoD aircraft and systems. The candidate will utilize previous experience to participate and/or lead a team of Engineers and Engineering Technicians in a lab-based environment to support T&E and acquisition projects to bring new capability to the facility. Test support includes development of procedures that support collecting data for the analyses of the combat effectiveness, survivability, and specification compliance of current and planned U.S. Navy air systems.

Position Duties/Responsibilities
Candidates will work closely with systems and functional engineers to provide relevant T&E solutions that support warfighting capability assessments of combat systems and impacts on operational and engineering requirements. The candidate will provide customer program offices with technical knowledge in the areas of: test setup and execution within an Installed Systems Test Facility (ISTF). Specific duties also include:
Provide technical, engineering, analysis, and program management support to
Navy's Air Combat Environment Test and Evaluation Facility (ACETEF),
Electronic Combat Stimulation (ECSTIM) Branch, Patuxent River, MD
Participate in the planning, testing, data reduction, and analysis of
critical Naval Air Systems testing
Participate/coordinate pre-test meetings with customer
Setup and operate RF test equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, Digital Oscilloscopes, etc) and advanced EW simulation/stimulation systems
Collaborate with test squadrons to incorporate operationally relevant scenarios
Candidate will receive training on the operation and maintenance of lab stimulators
Work within a team setting encompassing multiple labs
Deliver and support customer briefings on T&E capabilities and test results
Support customer engineering and management processes
Participate in various Integrated Product Teams and Working Groups
Participate and/or lead engineering investment projects
