Position Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY SPECIALIST in the COST & SCHEDULE ANALYSIS DEPARTMENT, SYSTEMS ACQUISITION GROUP of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for program cost estimating; resource analysis; contract cost and schedule performance evaluation; schedule development; and data quality standards in support of program management efforts throughout systems’ life cycles.
  • You will oversee the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of personnel to maintain the organization’s operational capacity and ensure it has the skilled workforce necessary to achieve its objectives.
  • You will provide mentorship, training, and developmental opportunities, ensuring that junior personnel advance their skills and contribute effectively to the organization’s objectives
  • You will provide contract management oversight as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for the department’s service contracts, monitoring contractor performance, addressing issues, and ensuring that contractual obligations are met.
  • You will track and report key metrics and measures, such as contract performance indicators, resource utilization, and compliance rates, to senior management.
  • You will ensure that all products and services provided to Cost and Schedule Analysis Department customers are in accordance with established policies, procedures and processes.
  • You will perform analyses for systems in all phases of the life cycle (i.e., development, production, and sustainment) involving state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing techniques.
