You will serve as the Automatic Test Systems (ATS) Electronics Engineering Lead for the Support Equipment Fleet Support Team of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will conduct engineering studies and analysis on electronic systems, equipment or components to improve capabilities.
- You will plan and/or conduct electronic engineering investigations individually, as a member of a team, or as project lead, depending on the complexity of the project and assigned duties.
- You will adapt innovative methods or approaches to solve systems engineering technical problems.
- You will present recommendations to modify standard practices in developing innovative engineering solutions.
- You will address technical processes, procedures, practices, and requirements to support test engineering operations task.
- You will analyze test and evaluation methods or processes to identify deficiencies within electronic systems on the system compatibility, performance, or vulnerability of hardware systems.
- You will plan and/or conduct electronic engineering investigations individually, as a member of a team, or as a project lead, depending on the complexity of the project and assigned duties.
- You will anticipate and take positive action on problems which if not identified and rectified in their early stages, would likely lead to serious consequences.
- You will participate in meetings and conferences convened to discuss engineering issues, problems, design, and/or development of new and/or upgraded systems and other similar matters.
