Sheet Metal Worker

Position Description

This position is located in the Production Lines Division, MRO Production Department at Fleet Readiness Centers (FRC) East, Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and/or Southwest. Incumbent
performs a variety of metal repair, fabrication, plan, layout, and structural disassembly/ assembly of aircraft and aircraft components. They assist higher graded mechanics in the full range of
their duties.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

- Incumbent shall work from drawings, manuals, technical directives, instructions, and at times,under the guidance of a higher-graded mechanic.

- The incumbent will disassemble, repair, assemble, modify, measure, and/or check, as required, to process aircraft, aircraft engine structures, components, assembles, and/or sub-assemblies.

- May be required to train and/or mentor other artisans at the same or lower level.

Minimum Salary

$26.35 hourly

Maximum Salary

$30.74 hourly
