PROGRAM MANAGER

Position Description

This DA-340-06 Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) Program Management position is located at Patuxent River, MD to support the Naval Aviation Training Systems Program Office (PMA205) and the U.S. Marine Corps H-1 Light/Attack Helicopters program office (PMA-276). The successful applicant will be the Aviation Training Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead for the U.S. Marine Corps H-1 Light/Attack Helicopter.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will develop and implement procurement and management policies and operating procedures for overall planning and execution to an acquisition program baseline of the Aviation Training System platform during all phases of the life cycle.
• You will estimate workforce requirements monitor IPT personnel and other personnel in government activities and contractor organizations from program initiation through the end of the program or training system lifecycle.
• You will analyze needs and requirements to assess and determine Aviation Training System platform specific training solutions to be procured and address assigned program initiatives that satisfy Maritime Training and Readiness requirements.
• You will identify program office and competency area support needed to meet assigned Aviation Training System platform training requirements.
• You will establish program, project, and sub-tier Integrated Program Teams. You will direct programmatic tasking to program, project, and sub-tier IPTs and, as appropriate, delegate product decision authority to appropriate team leaders.
• You will define IPT management performance metrics and interface requirements for overarching program and sub-tier IPTs.
