Position Description

The selectee will serve as Supervisory Human Resources Specialist in the Human Capital Management Group, Labor and Employee Relations Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will administer, supervise, evaluate, or perform technical work concerned with labor and employee relations in the Federal service.
  • You will establish and maintain an effective labor-management relationship at the NAWC; negotiate and administer labor agreements and otherwise confer with labor organizations on behalf of management.
  • You will work with management, individuals and informal groups in matters such as supervisor-employee relations; employee conduct and performance; and employee rights, grievances, and appeals; employee communications and services.
  • You will develop and conduct trainings, targeted training on a broad scope of labor and employee related topics for management and the NAWCAD HCM community for in house continuous learning.
  • You will supervise and provide oversight of a staff of human resources specialists in the operational aspects of human resources management.
  • You will accomplish other duties as assigned.
