Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist

Position Description

You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the FST Department at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will monitor team progress and review and approve work products of less experienced LMS and developmental employees.
• You will have an extensive knowledge of the theories and principles of Logistics Management and Integrated Logistics Systems (ILS) planning and program execution, and mastery of advanced ILS planning principles and practices.
• You will negotiate with high level officials to implement recommendations and gain acceptance for proposals that involve redirection of program or agency resources or changes in established work processes and operations, in order to resolve conflicts
• You will identify, distribute and balance workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established workflow, skill level and occupational specialization.
• You will make adjustments to accomplish the workload in accordance with established priorities to ensure timely accomplishment of assigned team tasks; ensuring that each employee has an integral role in developing the final team product.
