Position Description

You will serve as an Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic Leader in the MRO Production Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will teach procedures, principles, and knowledge related to trade and craft practices.
  • You will assign work to artisans indicating methods and equipment to be used.
  • You will install, maintain, and repair wiring and connectors for electronics equipment and systems.
  • You will demonstrate proper work methods to train journeymen, workers, new hires, etc., to update and improve knowledge, skills, techniques, methods, and procedures.
  • You will use hand and power tools in the repair, installation, assembly, and disassembly of electronic integrated systems.
  • You will plan electronic integrated systems maintenance work assignments required to accomplish mission.
  • You will plan overall work assignments on an immediate and long range basis.
  • You will investigate technical problems and apply corrective action.
  • You will accomplish other duties as assigned.
