This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities Major Range and Test Facilities Base. Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and other instructions to plan your work.
- You will inspect damaged aircraft structures to determine the most effective repair methods.
- You will disassemble and remove sheet metal and composite structures from aircraft.
- You will lay out, cut, bend, and form sheet metal to fabricate and repair aircraft parts.
- You will perform structural modifications to aircraft based on engineering updates.
- You will precisely drill, fit, and rivet new or repaired parts during assembly and installation.
- You will operate a wide range of fabrication machinery, including press brakes, shears, and forming machines.
- You will finish parts by deburring, filing, and smoothing surfaces, applying chemical treatments as needed.
- You will inspect your completed work to ensure it meets all quality and safety specifications.
- You will train and mentor other mechanics, sharing your expertise to support the team.
