Supervisory Security Guard

Position Description

You will serve as a Supervisory Security Guard in the Physical Security Branch of the Security Division, Commands Operations Department of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
• You will enforce security measures required to protect personnel, materials, and property against accidental or deliberate injury, damage, fire, theft, acts of sabotage and espionage, and other disreputable acts.
• You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
• You will perform guard services on permanent or rotating shifts, responsible to ensure security of FRCSE facilities, equipment and material.
• You will respond to alarms, suspicious activity, disturbances, or emergencies by initiating appropriate actions, contacting authorities, and documenting incidents.
• You will ensure visitors have proper escort, if appropriate, prior to admittance, and inspect vehicles entering and departing FRCSE.
