You will serve as an Instrument Mechanic in the MRO Production Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

You will work with available drawings, technical orders or specifications, and calculate and identify missing dimensions or tolerances.
You will be required to use independent judgement and decision regarding the methods and procedures to complete assignments.
You will improvise special techniques and procedures to attain unusual surface configurations.
You will be responsible for knowing and judging the impact of repairs and the effects that changes and adjustments will have on related devices.
You will be responsible for making further test and alignments to ensure the complete instruments are calibrated and functioning properly.
You will be required to work with engineering personnel on prototype configurations and modifications.
