Position Description

You will serve as an INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/SCIENTIST in the RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT GROUP, WEAPONS & ENERGETICS DEPT, WEAPONS SYS & PROJECT ENGINEERING DIV, ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY SYS BR of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will lead and manage an area of technical operations of the Advanced Technology Systems (ATS) Branch, within Weapons and Energetics Department.
• You will be responsible for technical oversight, technology planning, and managing the technology road map of advanced technology systems domain.
• You will coordinate tasking for the technical team and facilities.
• You will advise the Branch Head and Program Office on technical priorities with consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of team members.
