LEAD IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC)

Position Description

You will serve as a LEAD IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST in the CYBER DEPARTMENT of NAWCTSD ORLANDO. ******This position has a control point of GS-14 Step 10. If selected, your salary will be set according to the established control points of this position which is $124,531-$161,889.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will provide technical oversight of the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division cyber portfolio of Information Systems, ensuring compliance with DoD and DON cyber policy.
• You will be responsible for communicating complex cyber and technical issues, concepts, and risks to NAVAIR, Program Offices, NAWCTSD leadership, and stakeholders.
• You will serve as an an expert in the application of the Navy's Cyber Assessment and Authorization process (e.g., Risk Management Framework (RMF)).
• You will plan, conduct, and evaluate Navy IT system Risk Assessments and ensures that cyber Assessments and authorizations are performed and submitted at on schedule and meet requisite quality assurance checks.
