SUPERVISORY INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/SCIENTIST

You will serve as the Director for Energetics in the Weapons and Energetics Department of the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD).

You will provide overall technical leadership for the quality and execution of NAWCWD’s energetics related work to deliver state-of-the-art weapon system solutions to the Warfighter.
You will serve as a recognized technical expert and advisor for a broad spectrum of energetics-related capabilities including research and technology, development, integration, testing, and in-service engineering.
You will establish the future direction of energetics in weapons systems.
You will define relevant problems, determine the applicable solution techniques, and express the solution in terms that permit its application to specific weapon systems design and research problems.
You will serve as a technical consultant to NAWCWD leadership for all technical aspects of research, development, and engineering for energetics materials and components important to the current and strategic interests of the Weapons Division.
