LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Position Description

You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the NAWCAD Air System Group, Logistics Department, Maintenance Division, Logistics Integration (Fixed Wing) Branch, AB31400 of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will ensure maintainability, readiness, supportability, and affordability through a series of Supportability Analysis, including but not limited to Intergrated Logistics Support (ILS) Trade Studies, Use Studies, and Baseline Comparative Studies.
• You will ensure compliance with environmental regulations associated with supportability and logistics in the acquisition of aircraft, aircraft systems, and weapons systems.
• You will develop, implement, and sustain maintenance and supply support solutions that are integrated and optimized in support of the Fleet and development of efficient Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems.
• You will provide logistics expertise to Weapons Systems Program Offices and Logistics Managers as required ensuring that designed logistics support systems meet established supportability requirements and performance parameters.
