Acquisition Program Specialist (Alternate APC)

Position Description

You will serve as an Acquisition Program Specialist (Alternate APC) in the Acquisition and Procurement Division of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will prepare reports or written assessments to provide project objectives, requirements, scope, or status updates
• You will analyze program strategies to determine compliance with Government Commercial Purchase Card regulations, procedures, or management practices
• You will conduct risk analysis of new or current systems or processes to identify problems and recommend solutions
• You will analyze potential problems or reported issues to recommend contingency plans to management
• You will analyze program strategies to determine compliance with Government Commercial Purchase Card regulations, procedures and/or management practices.
• You will identify process or product deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
