SUPERVISORY INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST

Position Description

You will serve as the Mission Engineering/Capability Management Branch Head in the Mission Engineering and Analysis Division, Warfare Effectiveness Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. This position is equivalent to a GS-13/14.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will supervise a Branch comprised of junior level, journey level and senior level operation research analysts, mission engineers, scientists, and military officers.
• You will plan and assign work based on priorities, schedules and capabilities; monitors and reviews work conducted by teams; manages and coordinates resources.
• You will identify digital engineering and model based systems engineering methodology to be employed in major efforts.
• You will direct and coordinate the work of other engineers in performing efforts within their purview.
• You will assist in the recruiting, hiring and training of lower-graded employees assigned to the incumbent for specific projects and programs.
