DIRECTOR, COMMAND OPERATIONS GROUP

You will serve as the Director, Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) within the Command Operations Group, ensuring sound integration of all facets of NAVAIR's business and alignment with Department of the Navy (DON), Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) and cross-Systems Command (SYSCOM) goals.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will serve as the technical expert and provide executive direction for tools, policy, standards and oversight within prescribed functional domains – supporting the Program Executive Offices (PEOs)/Program Management Offices (PMAs).
- You will oversee enterprise level policy, processes and tools within Command Support, Security, Communications, Human Capital Management, Business Analytics/Data Intelligence, Program and Business Analysis, Facilities, Environmental and Safety.
- You will serve as the technical expert regarding corporate resource management issues and for the development, implementation and administration of Command level planning and appraisal; short/long range plans and business operations strategies.
- You will oversee civilian, military and manpower management; infrastructure business operations (military construction planning and execution); Command-wide incentive awards, cost reduction initiatives and assessment of command level effectiveness.
- You will interact with peer Command/Corporate Operations executives in other naval SYSCOMs, the Army, Air Force, Marine Corps and on a wide variety of corporate resources planning issues required in support of NAVAIR projects and programs.
- You will represent the Command with higher authority serving as a technical expert in areas of overall command operations planning and assessment, executive resource management and development, and other corporate programs.
- You will provide economical business solutions across the Command and ensure reliance on analysis based decision processes. You will oversee the planning and execution of Command-wide corporate business, financial management policies and processes.
- You will advise senior leadership on the effective management and administration of the headquarters administrative budget, command-wide security programs and infrastructure business operations.
