Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC)

Position Description

You will serve as a Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC) in the Software Engineering Department, Software Development Environment Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will provide information security and systems administration support for all labs across the Software Development Environment platform labs with only minimal additional training.
• You will leverage technical knowledge to create highly automated tools and algorithms to consolidate, analyze, and generate focused data sets for application in risk assessments.
• You will develop and deliver clear cyber recommendations to all levels of personnel, from the technical execution layer to senior leadership while actively developing and participating in the execution of the command's overarching cyber strategy.
• You will conduct in-depth vulnerability scans, analyze results, and craft effective mitigation strategies based on a technical understanding of exploits and system function
• You will create, manage, modify, update and perform backup for project databases, including disaster recovery procedures.
