SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER

Position Description

You will serve as the Air Systems Group System Safety and Air Systems Integration Department Director, Senior Scientific Technical Manager (SSTM) Distinguished Engineer for the Air Systems Group, System Safety and Air Systems Integration Department, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD).

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will direct and manage Special Projects providing technical guidance for the development and improvement of NAWCAD’s processes, methods and practices.
• You will execute all financial responsibilities for the Systems Safety and Air Systems Integration Department to meet Air Systems Group and NAWCAD goals.
• You will determine resource requirements and tasking to enable successful outcomes for capabilities delivery and sustainment/ fleet support.
• You will translate strategic direction and intent into Department and Division level accountabilities (Objectives/Measures) and institute policy guidelines for strategy realization.
• You will serve as the senior acquisition and sustainment expert for the System Safety and Air Systems Integration Department, responsible for developing and executing organizational vision and strategic initiatives.
