You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (LABOR RELATIONS/EMPLOYEE RELATIONS) in the Commander, Fleet Readiness Center, Dept of Navy of COMFLTREADCEN.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will analyze employee benefits programs and services (e.g., retirement, health insurance, life insurance) to identify areas requiring improvement.
 - You will coordinate with customers (e.g., Operations Center, Managers, human resources offices, other organizations) to resolve issues with recruitment actions.
 - You will advise managers and employees on drug and alcohol testing processes and procedures (e.g., random selection, follow-up, post-accident, voluntary, reasonable suspicion, pre-employment).
 - You will assess the effectiveness of an employee relations program in meeting strategic objectives.
 - You will review awards packages (e.g., performance, time-off, on-the-spot, special act, meritorious civilian service) to ensure all requirements have been met.
 - You will write agency directives or policies for human resources programs (e.g., classification, compensation management, employee relations, labor relations.
