INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER

Position Description

You will serve as a systems engineer in the Air Platform Systems Engineering Division, Systems Engineering Department, of Naval Air Warfare Center, responsible for overall technical baseline development and acquisition of Naval Aviation Systems. This position will serve as an Assistant Program Manager for Systems Engineering (APMSE), who will be in charge of a technical development, leadership, and quality of the technical baseline being established, maintained, produced & sustained in the USN.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will serve as a Systems Engineering position supporting the technical baseline development and Acquisition of Naval Aviation Systems.
• You will apply advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes in research and engineering, test and evaluation, and logistics functions.
• You will deliver optimized technical solutions that are balances to achieve required technical performance within cost, schedule and technology constraints.
• You will function as a team lead/project lead/program manager providing technical guidance and meeting customer requirements for products/services.
