Position Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY SPECIALIST in the Systems Acquisition Group, Cost & Schedule Analysis Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will provide leadership, technical expertise, and oversight to ensure the effective execution of team objectives, customer requirements, and alignment with organizational goals.
• You will establish and guide technical methodologies, standards, and best practices within the functional area, offering expert advice and solutions to complex challenges.
• You will foster collaboration across teams, monitor performance, and serve as a liaison between leadership and team members to ensure successful implementation of initiatives, advancement of priorities, and delivery of high-quality results.
• You will ensure the application of appropriate contractual cost and schedule reporting requirements for upcoming procurements and government projects.
• You will ensure the continuous improvement and effectiveness of Earned Value Management (EVM) processes and tools to support organizational objectives.
• You will review proposed legislation with potential significant impacts on agency programs, responsible for developing, interpreting, and evaluating guidance to ensure high-quality and reliable analyses.
• You will maintain direct contact with high-level technical and management officials within government agencies, participating in reviews, discussions, and meetings with various groups.
• You will maintain working knowledge of the latest operations research or industrial engineering theories, methods, and techniques associated specifically with Earned Value Management (EVM) and related professional disciplines.
• You will accomplish other duties as assigned.
