INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/SCIENTIST

Position Description

You will serve as the Artificial Intelligence Capabilities Lead in the Cognitive Technologies Branch (D521300) of the Advanced Capabilities Division (D/E521000) of the Spectrum Warfare Department (D/E520000) of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE, located in China Lake, CA or Point Mugu, CA

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will serve as the senior subject matter expert for all external collaboration efforts regarding Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities in the division.
• You will develop and implement a strategic plan to interface with external offices across NAVAIR, OPNAV, ONR, NRL, and others to identify products and processes in which AI capabilities can be inserted.
• You will develop and maintain relationships with academia in order to identify and evaluate emerging AI technologies and their potential applications for NAWCWD.
