You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT) in the Industrial Supply Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will function as coordinator over control centers within the designated areas, ensuring timely induction of workload, and coordinate workload with lower-rated Production Controllers (PCs) in support of the FRCSW, Camp Pendleton Production Team.
- You will manage production projects that involve the manufacture and repair of highly complex items and equipment with a wide variety of component parts.
- You will independently analyze workload requirements, master repair schedules, and available production resources to make adjustments in schedules, workload priorities, completion dates, and allocations of material, machines, and man-hours.
- You will compile information from a variety of sources such as production shop personnel, production control records, budget reports, design and production engineering personnel, and supply activities to prepare work orders and job specifications.
- You will release jobs into production shops on a short term or daily basis taking into consideration the status of workload, priorities and the availability of manpower, machines, and material.
- You will coordinate with management, budget, procurement, and engineering personnel on actions that affect workload production such as: shop layout, work operation sequence, facility changes, methods and standards, quality control, manpower and cost.
- You will advise the Production team and PC personnel of priorities, schedules, adjustments, and man-hours required to satisfy the plant's commitments.
