OPERATIONS TEST SPECIALIST

Position Description

You will serve as an OPERATIONS TEST SPECIALIST in the RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT GROUP, WEAPONS & ENERGETICS DEPT, WEAPON SYSTEMS INTEGRATED PRODUCTS DIV, PROJECT SECURITY TEST SUPPORT BR of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will will be a Subject Matter Expert in both Laboratory Management and Test Operational Support such that they can smoothly integrate their knowledge of programs, equipment, and requirements to support both laboratory and testing requirements.
• You will interpret and develop guidance for new and developing Weapons and/or programs.
• You will manage and oversee equipment, including functional status and continuous update/improvement of processes and procedures along with the physical configuration of equipment utilized in the labs.
• You will create annual lab budget/ lab annual plan, allocate resources to customers; execute lab budget and plan, manage and distribute procurement tasking; and manage lifecycle of laboratory equipment.
