INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER

Position Description

You will serve as the The Chief Engineer (CE) in the THREAT TARGET SYSTEMS DEPT, SYSTEMS ENGRG PROCESS OFC of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU located in Point Mugu or China Lake.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will for be responsible for oversight of Department-wide engineering processes in conjunction with Department Competency and IPT/TPO Leadership.
• You will focus on Strategic Project management including constant reevaluation of the Department technical roadmap and execute mitigation of any identified gaps
• You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of US weapons programs and systems development in order to direct current and potential project alignment, as well as possible new product development
• You will provide technical and program management support to investigations, studies, projects, and programs (NISE/219, PMA directed, failure investigations, new capabilities) supported by TTSD.
