IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC)

Position Description

You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the CYBERSECURITY DIVISION of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will act as the primary cybersecurity technical advisor to the Authorization Official (AO) for the Patuxent River Data Center, ensuring the secure configuration and approval of Information Technology (IT).
• You will be responsible for coordinating, reporting, and after actions of incidents or spillages.
• You will implement information security measures for the Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Automation, Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and DEVSECOPS Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelining.
• You will lead a team of Cyber/IA functional specialists and collaborate with varying stakeholders to identify/integrate Cyber/IA principals and methods into all aspects of the target system development lifecycle.
• You will identify Cyber/IA methods/techniques optimally suited to the supported program, including the needs of external partners (e.g., vendors), and lead efforts to integrate them into all aspects of operations.
• You will provide customers with expert information/analytical support/guidance on Cyber/IA requirements for proposed IT acquisitions from earliest stages of development, through the acquisition milestone process and follow-on support.
• You will ensure the compliance with governing Cyber/IA policies/procedures/documentation requirements (e.g., Clinger-Cohen Act), and the security/integrity of IT/IM systems.
• You will perform continuing analysis of in-place plans/programs/processes to ensure they provide an optimized level of security for assets/operations, and are responsive to the customer’s rapidly-changing operational requirements for IT security.
