Position Description

You will serve as a LEAD FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the TECH OPS AND PROD SUPPORT DIV, BUSINESS AND FINANCIAL OPERATIONS DEPT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will serve as a senior advisor and technical expert to resolve complex, sensitive, or unprecedented financial management matters across multiple organizational components.
  • You will execute full-lifecycle resource management for assigned programs, encompassing long-range program planning, budget formulation, execution monitoring, and final financial closeout.
  • You will formulate supportable courses of action, budget exhibits, and impact statements to justify and defend funding requirements before senior leadership, customers, and external stakeholders.
  • You will operate with broad independence to interpret vague, incomplete, or conflicting financial guidelines and design new internal procedures or business practices to ensure compliance.
  • You will coordinate with functional specialists, project teams, or comptroller staff to reconcile differing priorities, obtain consensus on resource strategies, and ensure the successful delivery of mission-critical financial products.
  • You will perform a variety of other fiscal, accounting, or financial management duties and responsibilities.
  • You will distribute and balance workload among employees considering skill level or specialization, timeframes for completion, and priorities train or arrange for training of employees.
  • You will communicate clearly both orally and in writing for the purpose of providing information and guidance to team members led and to management or customers at all levels.
