SUPERVISORY OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST

Position Description

You will serve as a Supervisory Operations Research Analyst (Branch Head) in the Air Systems Group, Logistics Department, Readiness and Fleet Analytics Division, Advanced Analytics and Innovation Branch of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will provide administrative and technical guidance to the Advanced Analytics and Innovation Branch within the Air Systems Group Logistics Department.
• You will coordinate, interaction with other groups, disciplines, commands and organizations to execute critical data science and analytics work for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD).
• You will assess the abilities of the branch to meet current, future and contingency requirements and develop plans and programs to enhance capabilities and performance while maintaining cost as an independent variable.
• You will research other government activities and commercial enterprises for innovative techniques and processes to maximize value of department products and services and improve overall department efficiency.
• You will find and implement ways to eliminate or reduce significant bottlenecks and barriers to production, promote team building, and improve business practices.
• You will evaluate the work performance of subordinates, and ensure they have adequate funding.
• You will do other duties assigned to you by division and department leadership.
