F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office-Deputy Program Manager

Position Description

Serves as the Deputy Director Program Manager for the Air Vehicle Mission Systems PMO. You will be responsible for leading and facilitating critical program management, technical, and business efforts of the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office follow-on modernization program including Technology Refresh 3 and the Block 4 suite of capability valued at over $10B.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will assist the PM in facilitating the attainment and execution of resources to ensure the F-35 Mission Systems programs attain cost, schedule, and performance goals.
• As the Deputy PM, you will assist the PM to guide the efforts of the F-35 Mission Systems teams in the development and execution of innovative approaches to attain programmatic modernization goals.
• You will assist the PM in leading the AV/MS teams along with encouraging cross-functional collaboration in an assessment of customer needs and the allocation of resources to successfully execute the F-35 Mission Systems Portfolio.
• You will anticipate and implement strategies addressing budgetary and Congressional inquiries into the F-35 Mission Systems Portfolio.
• You will direct the military, government civilian, and contractor personnel of Mission Systems in the implementation of the Director's and PEO's strategic goals.
• You will develop and convey products that inform stakeholders of JPO, Services, Foreign Partners, OSD and Congressional on the status, way forward and strategic vision of F-35 modernization efforts.
