Position Description

You will serve as a GENERAL ENGINEER in the Flight Safe and QA Engineering Branch (BL41600), Prototyping and Manufacturing Division, Prototype, Manufacturing and Test Department of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will generate the Quality Assurance Requirements for Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Technical Data Requirements requests.
  • You will generate Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDR) for non-conforming ALRE material delivered to both PMD and the fleet and you will facilitate the subsequent investigation and documentation within the Joint Deficiency Reporting System.
  • You will review and recommend approval or disapproval of Source Approval Request packages submitted by manufacturers interested in manufacturing ALRE Critical Safety Items
