LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Position Description

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the SYSTEMS SAFTETY & AIR SYSTEMS INTEGRATION DEPARTMENT, AIR SYSTEMS INTEGRATION DIVISION of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the logistics planning, processes and documentation that are executed during the acquisition process to ensure that the desired level of logistics supportability is achieved.
• You will establish processes and guidelines that ensure the supportability analyses performed are logical, analytical, repeatable and auditable, and result in successful identification of maintenance requirements and support alternatives.
• You will ensure compliance with environmental regulations associated with supportability and logistics in the acquisition of aircraft, aircraft systems, and weapon systems.
• You will demonstrate expertise with and the capability of getting consistently improved results from working with process improvement initiatives and tools.
• You will facilitate organizational, intermediate, and depot level review through tracking and reporting on the status of readiness goals and objectives.
• You will provide logistics expertise to Weapon Systems Program Offices and Logistics Managers as required to ensure that designed logistics support systems meet established supportability requirements and performance parameters.
