LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Position Description

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Support Equipment (SE) Department, PEO(A & UAS) Peculiar SE (PSE) Division, P-8/C-130/E-130 PSE Branch supporting the E-130J PSE Team of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst, NJ. The Branch performs cradle-to-grave design, development, acquisition, and sustainment support of E-130J Support Equipment.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will conduct studies to analyze procedures and recommend improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.
• You will lead the planning, coordination, direction, evaluation and implementation of life cycle logistics support for aviation Support Equipment.
• You will advise on all product and logistics matters, business planning, metrics management, and all other aspects of logistics management within the area of responsibility.
• You will identify specific requirements for funding and manpower, establish priorities, direct workload, provide contractor oversight and develop/mentor junior logisticians.
• You will identify/analyze risks, develop solutions, and resolve complex logistics problems by developing new approaches, policies, and/or procedures.
