You will serve as a ELECTRICAL ENGINEER in the Facility & Infrastructure Mgmt Dept, Facility & Plant Maintenance Division of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will make, justify, and defend long-range, sometimes controversial, proposals.
- You will lead a team and make final decisions on problem resolutions.
- You will analyze/evaluate, using state-of-the-art engineering, causes, effects, and alternatives to resolve difficult electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic facilities, facility equipment and facility design issues.
- You will evaluate the implications of technological changes on work planning and processes and ensure timely implementation and integration into team efforts.
- You will Implement and control approved performance schedules. Anticipate and identify problem areas; develop innovative solutions; and resolve difficult and challenging situations.
- You will develop in-house and outsourcing cost estimates and prepare contracts and delivery orders for contracted engineering services.
