GENERAL ENGINEER

Position Description

You will serve as a GENERAL ENGINEER in the Air Platform Systems Engineering Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV serving as a Platform/Stores Integration Systems Engineer in support of the F-35 Program Joint Program Office. You will be responsible for all of the integration aspects of weapons and other stores into the USN F-35 aircraft

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will direct F-35A/B/C weapons and stores integration, airworthiness, and certification, and provide dedicated engineering oversight for complex F-35 software integration activities.
• You will develop advanced requirements and store integration plans to ensure system performance, and prepare weapons-centric Airworthiness Certification Agreement Plans (ACAPs) and Engineering Data Requirements Agreement Plans (EDRAPs).
• You will coordinate critical EDRAP and ACAP certification artifacts with dual-agency SMEs, and consolidate feedback to deliver unified, timely technical responses.
• You will review flight clearances for technical accuracy, safety, and critical store functions.
• You will identify integration and software problem areas in contractor designs and test data, and deliver technical risk assessments on software and store integration to IPT leaders.
