GENERAL ENGINEER

You will serve as a Combat Survivability Engineer in support of the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO) leading the development and support of system survivability technologies for the fifth-generation joint strike fighter (JSF) for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, international partners and foreign military sales customers. You will be a General Engineer in the Systems Engineering Department, Combat Survivability Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will provide support as needed to the F-35 Mission Effectiveness Team.
- You will coordinate with other agency platforms to ensure alignment and sharing of lessons learned and technologies across the joint force.
- You will provide radio frequency and infrared survivability data and expertise to outside organizations such as tactics developers and modeling and simulation organizations.
- You will plan and coordinate test and simulation events along with managing technical projects to improve the mission performance of the F-35.
