AIRCRAFT EXAMINER (AIRCRAFT ELECTRICIAN)

Position Description

You will serve as an Aircraft Examiner (Aircraft Electrician) in the MRO Production Department, and Production Lines Division of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will perform progressive static and dynamic examination and evaluation of assigned Type/Model/Series aircraft electrical systems.
• You will create job order specifications and determine what type and amount of materials will be required.
• You will prepare costs and time estimates in support of assigned project/program and from engineering drawings (electrical, mechanical and structural) with labor estimates.
• You will ensure products are reworked within technical specifications and meet negotiated labor and material requirements.
• You will conduct formal training and on the job training to other employees in support of program goals and objectives.
• You will assign tasks to immediate workers, relay supervisor's instructions, and provide guidance to workers on methods and procedures.
• You will accomplish other duties as assigned.
