Position Description

You will serve as an AIRCRAFT ORDNANCE SYSTEMS MECHANIC LEADER in the PROD LINES DIV, MRO PRODUCTION DEPT of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will work from blueprints, technical manuals, and drawings to complete tasks and document the work performed.
  • You will make ejection seats safe for maintenance by removing explosive charges and makes them ready for flight by reinstalling them.
  • You will disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and test various models of ejection seats and their components.
  • You will perform the most complex and difficult tasks, including the overhaul and repair of aircraft ejection seats, escape system components, and associated sub-assemblies.
  • You will direct, assist, and instruct other Aircraft Ordnance Systems personnel
  • You will provide guidance on complex, experimental, and prototype work.
