Position Description

You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY & CYBER SECURITY DIVISION, SPECTRUM WARFARE DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will serve as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for the Cybersecurity Assurance and Compliance Branch at China Lake within the Information Technology and Cybersecurity Division of the Spectrum Warfare Department.
  • You will develop an organizational information system-level cybersecurity program that identifies IT architecture, cybersecurity /IT requirements, cybersecurity /IT objectives and policies, and cybersecurity processes and procedures.
  • You will implement, document, and enforce cybersecurity within an assigned Research, Development, Test, and Development (RDTE) lab environment.
  • You will ensure that information ownership responsibilities are established for each DoD information system (IS), to include accountability, access approvals, and special handling requirements.
  • You will maintain a repository for all cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization documentation and modifications within their assigned organization.
  • You will engage in NAWCWD continuous monitoring activities and report status to the Department Information System Security Manager (DISSM).
  • You will participate in planned and unscheduled security inspections to include cybersecurity validations and command physical security inspections.
