You will serve as a INTERDISCIPLINARY COMPUTER SCIENTIST/GENERAL ENGINEER in the Air Traffic Control & Landing Systems Division of NAWCAD WEBSTER OUTLYING FIELD.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will cover the entire defense system life cycle, including concept definition, design, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, logistics support, software support, and product improvement.
- You will develop and review work and written correspondence, including technical reports, roadmap briefs, and technical documentation.
- You will be responsible for major system development or the direction of technology-based research which has the highest significance to the agency's needs
- You will direct the planning of resources to accomplish major blocks of engineering endeavor which may involve the expenditure of major portions of the nation's industrial base and long-range commitments of agency dollar allocations.
- You will have authority to make or recommend tradeoffs between cost, schedule and performance. He/she may frequently direct the technical effort of other personnel.
- You will assign work by providing administrative and policy direction in terms of broadly defined missions or functions of the agency.
