LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Position Description

You will serve as a Logistics Managemetn Specialist in the Optimization Divison of the Product Support Managemetn/Integration (PSM/I) Department of NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will assist in providing overall guidance for management and integration of logistics disciplines executed throughout the life cycle of Naval Aviation systems and equipment.
• You will plan, direct, or conduct a wide range of studies that involve developing, analyzing, evaluating, and advising on Fleet Readiness.
• You will provide sustainment metric monitoring and analysis to sustainment group.
• You will analyze program performance in support of RCB, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), return-on-investment (ROI) for Sustainment initiatives.
• You will evaluate predictive and modeling tools to improve material availability and Reliability, increase Operational Availability (Ao) rates, and reduce operation and sustainment cost.
• You will audit the effectiveness of the Command-wide PSMI efforts, initiatives, and programs.
