Position Description

You will serve as an Industrial Engineer in the Facilities and plant Planning Branch of FRC SE DET MIDLANT OCEANA. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will negotiate or consult with others on technical solutions to engineering problems.
  • You will present cost estimates or analyses to higher authorities to make recommendations of findings that significantly impact the success of the program.
  • You will analyze work operations to develop changes that improve efficiency.
  • You will advise on engineering principles to recommend solutions for facilities or infrastructure issues.
