LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Position Description

You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Assistant Commander for Sustainment Group (V4), FMS Sustainment Department (V451000) of NAVAL AIR SYSTEM COMMAND HQ-OSF

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will plan, manage, coordinate and implement full life cycle integrated logistics support of the weapon systems.
• You will analyze/evaluate requests from foreign government for price and availability data on specific weapons systems.
• You will manage Logistic Conference and Program Definition (LCPD) to establish the foreign customer?s requirements and to evaluate the country?s facilities, resources, and capability to provide the required operational/maintenance support.
• You will analyze logistic support requirements of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) to be considered by customer countries, report the anticipated costs and impact on support, process FMS customer ECP documentation and recommend support concepts.
• You will establish the schedule for each ILS element, and direct/coordinate all logistics actions, including headquarters/field activities to assure integration of the foreign requirements into Command plans and production schedules.
