Position Description

We are looking for a smart, energetic candidate with strong T&E aptitude to join our team working on some of the Navy’s most advanced and critical weapon systems, who will play a role in the development and operational ground testing of various mission systems. The candidate will utilize previous experience to develop test procedures that support collecting data for the analyses of the combat effectiveness, survivability, and specification compliance of current and planned U.S. Navy air systems. Work closely with systems and functional engineers to provide relevant T&E solutions that support warfighting capability assessments of combat systems and impacts on operational and engineering requirements.  The candidate will provide customer offices with technical knowledge in the areas of: test setup and execution within an Installed Systems Test Facility (ISTF). Specific duties also include:

  • Setup and operate RF test equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, Digital Oscilloscopes, etc)
  • Collaborate with test squadrons to incorporate operationally relevant scenarios
  • Setup and operator advanced EW stimulation systems
    • Candidate will receive training on the operation of specific stimulators
  • Work within a team setting encompassing multiple labs
  • Deliver and support customer briefings on T&E capabilities and test results
  • Support customer engineering and management processes
  • Participate in various Integrated Product Teams and Working Groups
