SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER

Position Description

You will serve as a Supervisory Program Manager as the Director of Planning and Operations in the Systems Acquisition Group, Program Management Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will maintain continuity of business operations within the Program Management Department and plan the most effective and economical method of accomplishing the organization’s mission.
• You will develop and propose long and short-range policy and guidance and implementation plans on business operations, financial operations, and general administrative management for the competency.
• You will review hiring requirements/plans from Divisions and prioritize hiring actions based on Department benchmarks and organization policy.
• You will be responsible for the communication of relevant business information to competency managers at the local and national levels to ensure consistent business execution across the Department.
• You will develop the requirements for Department quantitative and qualitative business analysis and assessment to evaluate the effectiveness of Department business operations in meeting established Departmental goals and objectives.
• You will oversee the Department’s business processes for workload/funding acceptance and direct and overhead funds execution.
• You will regularly interface with senior leadership and external organizational leaders in support of Department business operations.
• You will accomplish other duties as assigned.
